Consider this -> The number of mobile internet users in India is 3 times (approx.) the number of broadband users! And come 3G, those millions of users will have broadband in their pockets!

What does this mean for marketers? Doesn’t necessarily mean a shift of focus from PC to mobiles, but the market cannot be ignored. With millions of sites being searched and accessed from smartphones everyday, a natural extension of marketing strategies would involve mobile sites to be optimized for search engines.

No wonder, this is a huge potential market and only a handful of marketers are taking advantage right now! Remember the early 2000′s of google when no one was advertising? Exactly the mobile arena right now, and the right time to tap it !

Gotomeeting is a tool we have been using for almost 3 years now for sles collaboration, support and trainings. The simplicity with which it works and bridges  borders is almost inexplicable.

My suggestion : keep your efforts going, but always have static lead generation pages that can actually drive traffic to your Joomla sites, rather than aiming to get the Joomla site at the top. This may be more targeted and achievable with less money!

One such customer I recall was using a live chat software that amazingly tracked visitor references very well in real time. When we began working for this customer, there were hardly any chats.

5 months down the line  and Christmas shopping lining up, I was surprised to see tons of traffic repeatedly from google every single day. Brought more sales and paid off every investment that client made with us over last months.

Of course the keywords were right, the work done was good (shrugs), and the people came. Amazing stuff – I said, Google guys are possibly the best marketing people of this century!

Anything from social network profiles, images, documents that are online on a server are prone to be caught by the googlebot, and become visible to the world.

I would suggest that rather than going backwards and figuring out how to deindex things, its important to follow google guidelines before publishing anything online to make sure you want it indexed or not.
